Well, in light of Philadelphia’s new police state concerning bike riders with no brakes (track-bikes), I guess I’m safe.   I wouldn’t wanna brake the law.  I won’t wear  my headphones when I ride because I have no where to put my iPod.  But, where do I keep my bicycle registration now?

This is an old photo of one of my Dad’s GTO’s.

This was the ‘67 I believe.

When I used to work in a warehouse my assistant and I would blast this and Sleep’s Dopesmoker album all day.

I’ve had the pleasure of seeing MONO live, and it was one of the BEST shows I’ve ever seen.  Hearing them live is the only way to get the full experience.

This photo was taken by Nobuyoshi Araki during the last day’s of his wife’s life before dying from cancer in 1990. Part of of a publication he put together documenting this specific time, titled “Winter Journey“.

Best known to most for her roles in some of Japan’s Roman Porno films of the 1970’s, Naomi Tani is one of the original icons best known for the genre.  She appeared in popular Roman Porno titles like “Flower & Snake” 1974, “Wife to be Sacrificed” (1974), and “Tattooed Flower Vase” (1976).

This is an awesome animated depiction of Dock Ellis’ amazing game against the Padres on June 12th 1970.  Here’s the kicker; he was dosed out on LSD the whole time.  The video incorporates the narative by Dock himself giving the play by play of that fine day in American history.

Remember this guy?  He gained his fame back in 1996 with his epic videotaped suicide.Ricardo Lopez mailed an acid-spraying letter bomb to Bjork, which was intercepted by police before landing its way into her hands.  The police also found 18+ hours of video footage, which was later edited down by Danish director Sami Saif into an hour and forty-five minute documentary .  Below is a link to view the unedited suicide tape.  It’s pretty disturbing, and if you listen at the end you can hear the blood pouring from his head after the gun shot.  This video is NSFW.
